Based on the recommendations from an ICMR study on competencies of AYUSH doctors after SBA Training, it has been decided by the MOHFW that AYUSH doctors (Ayurveda and Homeopathy) posted at government health facilities may be permitted to conduct deliveries and provide basic treatment for complications before referral.
